1. Your available hours
Use multiple time windows per day if needed. These hours apply to both weeks.
2. Clients and meeting requirements
Use client initials or a short label. Create a separate entry for each needed category—supervision, caregiver collaboration, billable meeting, or non-billable meeting. Enter weekly totals in 0.5-hour increments, with a maximum session length. No session can be shorter than 30 minutes.
3. Scheduling preferences
Targets are never reduced. Unplaced hours remain visible as a deficit. Complete fits are preferred; otherwise the search offers useful partial alternatives without relaxing availability, session lengths, buffers, or recurring appointments.
4. Potential schedules
The target for each client and service is their requested weekly hours, or twice that amount across Weeks A and B. A partial schedule clearly marks any unmet hours, including clients with no appointments. In two-week mode, the weekly average deficit is the total deficit divided by two—not the difference in just one week. Recurring caregiver appointments repeat at identical days and times in both weeks. Auto mode looks for a complete one-week fit, then a complete two-week fit; if neither is found, it compares partial options by weekly coverage.
